Dr. Iraj Kasimi
Dr. Kasimi was raised in the Portland, Oregon, area. He attended Portland State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Science. He then attended Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry, graduating with honors in 2013. Dr. Kasimi has been actively involved in scientific research and has authored multiple studies and articles. In 2018, he moved to Las Vegas with a vision of providing patients with compassionate and comprehensive dental care in a state-of-the-art practice.
Dr. Kasimi is dedicated to expanding his professional skills and holds advanced credentials, including Gold Plus Provider status with Invisalign® and advanced training in Full Arch Reconstruction, Edentulous Implant Solutions, and Airway Management from the Arrowhead Institute, as well as Minimal Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry. Known for his gentle approach, he is committed to treating patients with the compassion and integrity they deserve, guided by Hillcrest Dental’s core values.
Outside of His Professional Life
Dr. Kasimi enjoys exploring Nevada, dining at local restaurants, and traveling to visit family and friends in California and Oregon. Recently engaged, he is excited to marry his fiancée, who will be joining Hillcrest Dental full-time after graduating from dental school in May 2025.

Dr. Brian Navarro
Dr. Navarro is a compassionate general dentist who earned their Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. They also hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Spanish from the University of Portland. As a proud Mexican American and first-generation college graduate, Dr. Navarro brings a unique and personal perspective to patient care.
Dr. Navarro is committed to fostering a comfortable and welcoming environment, especially for patients who may feel anxious about dental visits. They take pride in building strong relationships through open communication and tailoring treatment plans to meet each patient’s unique needs—treating every patient like family.
Outside of Work

Dr. Brakkon Garrett
Dr. Garrett was born and raised in Cedar City, UT and is the oldest of 5 brothers. He graduated from Southern Utah University with a degree in Nutrition and graduated from UNLV Dental School in 2022.
Dr. Garrett looks forward to making each dental visit as comfortable as possible for his patients and creating an environment where patients feel informed and educated about their dental needs.
Outside of the Office
Dr. Garrett enjoys spending time with family, playing video games, working out, and cheering for whatever team LeBron is playing for.
Dr. Malak Hamedian
Originally from the metro Detroit area of Michigan, Dr. Malak Hamedian is a compassionate and detail-oriented dentist dedicated to providing high-quality care in a comfortable, welcoming environment. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Kentucky and brings a strong foundation of clinical excellence to her practice.
Dr. Hamedian values building genuine relationships with her patients and takes pride in helping them feel at ease during every visit. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her commitment to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care.
Dr. Hamedian is passionate about continuing education and continually expanding her clinical knowledge to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry.
Outside the Office
Dr. Hamedian enjoys exploring new restaurants and cafés around Las Vegas and spending time with her cat, Mia. She married fellow dentist Dr. Kasimi in June 2025, and together they share a passion for dentistry, continuous growth, and lifelong learning.
